Brandon Richardson joined Cottage Hill Christian Academy after seven years of working at Covenant Christian School. He began his educational career in 2008 at Murphy High School. Coach Richardson was the head coach of the Junior Varsity Boys Soccer team wining the area  3 years in a row. Coach Richardson also helped lead the Varsity Boys Soccer team to the elite eight state tournament in 2010 and to the playoffs for 3 straight seasons as the assistant coach.  


While at Covenant Christian School, Coach Richardson taught math and served as the Athletic Director for 7 years. Coach Richardson also helped with numerous administrative duties at Covenant. Coach Richardson expanded youth athletic offerings to students in grades K5-8 and established Covenant Christian School as a member of the Alabama High School Athletic Association after being in the CMSAA. Brandon coached numerous sports while at CCS but focused on soccer where in 2 years of being members of AHSAA he led his boys and girls teams to a 1st place finish in the Tiger Brawl Tournament in 2016 and back to back 3rd place finishes in Mobile County for his boys and girls teams. Coach Richardson also coached the CCS Scholar's Bowl team to back to back regional championships in 2015 and 2016.

Coach Richardson is dedicated to education and believes that extra-curricular participation is vital for the overall success of the student. He encourages students to find their passions inside and outside of the classroom. Coach Richardson firmly believes that great relationships build successful classrooms and strong teams. 


Brandon is passionate about youth soccer in the Mobile area. He currently works with the Gulf Coast Texans Soccer Club in his free time and is dedicated to expanding opportunities for soccer development in the area. When he is not busy supporting Cottage Hill Christian Academy athletics, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing soccer and golf, and watching sports.
